As our lead program manager, she coordinates a variety of moving pieces on client projects, ensuring that milestones and outcomes are successful. Her understanding of the long-term implications of decisions and her ability to guide clients through nuanced processes are key strengths.

Megan takes a strategic view of projects, focusing on their impact on end users and how they contribute to an organization’s broader mission. Navigating complicated deployment timelines and the unexpected challenges along the way doesn’t faze her, and her high-level thinking complements tactical team members. She loves bringing out the best in others, making sure everyone has what they need, and recognizing when to tap into each person’s unique skills.

Megan’s first job out of college involved teaching university admission officers how to move to a digital application process from paper, sparking her interest in evolving business processes and teaching people how to use new tools, which led her to product management. Later, as product director for Beyond 12, she led the creation of a Salesforce-based system to track student success data. This inspired her to pursue other applications of Salesforce, from nonprofit consulting to the for-profit sector.

Over the last several years, Megan has led large-scale CRM and ERP transformation initiatives, including the support of company IPOs and facilitation of mergers and acquisitions. She’s proud that she has been able to lead large cross-functional teams through these strategic-level projects, all while raising a family. Megan emphasizes work-life balance, reminding others on her team that while work will always be present, they need to prioritize taking care of their personal wellness and their families.

Megan feels very fortunate to have had the career she has, and one of her big goals now is giving back to the next generation. She volunteers as a technical advisor to the Marin Community Foundation, supports job seekers through the San Francisco Job Forum, and is helping to build a new initiative called the Workforce of the Future, which helps individuals early in their career. Recognizing how difficult it can be to find a job, she finds it very rewarding to mentor others and help prepare them for the workforce.

Megan’s ideal day off starts out with exercise (she’s a huge Peloton enthusiast). Afterward, she’d do some reading—probably a novel—and then cooking some much requested Mediterranean food for the family in their San Francisco Bay Area home. She and her family also enjoy the outdoors together, including road trips in their Airstream camper. And no matter how busy life gets, she always prioritizes sitting down to dinner together.

To Megan, program management is about more than schedules and deadlines, it’s making sure that a team has what they need to achieve the desired project benefits. She is dedicated to supporting people, meeting them where they are, creating a safe space for concerns, and clearing obstacles so they can focus on their work. We’re very glad to have Megan on our team and know she has our backs!
